Founding Information
The Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust was founded by Mrs. Sharada Prakash in the year of January 2013 exclusively to organize conferences, seminars, and debates, periodically for fruitful interaction in order to inculcate the right perception about the ancient scriptures, wisdom, practices, codes of conduct, and rituals. And to grants, scholarships, and fellowships to the students excelling in the above-mentioned subjects. Construction and management of schools, colleges, education institutes, free dispensaries, centers for the poor, and homes for the aged for the benefit of the public. To promote education among the rural communities and the poor through economic assistance, seminars, workshops, awareness campaigns, etc. Providing grants, scholarships, fellowships, and other forms of financial assistance to needy and deserving students for pursuing education, vocational training, skill development, etc.
To provide physical and mental health care to the community by setting up clinics and health care centers. Help people with knowledge of acquisition through various communication mediums including television, radio, internet, print, etc. by setting up reading rooms, computers, etc. To preserve and encourage local traditions, heritage, art, culture, and best practices. To facilitate the creation of self-help groups among the rural communities and to partner with micro-credit and knowledge organizations to support self-help groups. To establish associations and to takeover organizations in India and abroad, having objects similar, incidental or ancillary to those of this trust. To do and conduct all such acts and things that would further the object mentioned herein and would further the cause of the Trust or are incidental or conducive to such objects. To engage in the Printing and Publication of Books, and CDs in all Indian Languages, to preserve and promote Indian Culture and Tradition.
