Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust was incorporated in 2013 with the principal objective of helping people below the poverty line and underprivileged women and creating an environment for the emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being of poor individuals in society irrespective of religion, caste, and sex. Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust is a non-governmental organization (NGO) / non-profit organization (NPO) / voluntary organization (VO). Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust operates independently of any government, typically one whose purpose is to address a political or social issue.

Lakshmi Giri Charitable Trust works in different sectors including Art & Science, Drinking Water, Education, Food Processing, Labour & Employment, Women’s Development & Empowerment, and Skill Development. We have expertise in identifying the physically challenged and the poor and motivating, impact training, and creating awareness related to socio-economic empowerment and self-improvement.

● To bring up “UP” understanding of modern branches of knowledge systems and elements by using Vedic Wisdom and to flow “DOWN” - Dharmik spirit of enquiry contained in Bharatiya Jnana to the regional, cultural and professional level by a process called AIM (Achieving Indic Mentality).
● To re-establish the importance of Vedic wisdom and its samskaras preserved in the vast literature for re-structuring the emerging social fabric of Bharat.
● To provide support to Empower scholars, institutions and pathashalas.
● To build a public-private partnership ecosystem for Veda vidvans and to organize collaborative opportunities for dharmic contributors.

  • To organize conferences, seminars, and debates, periodically for fruitful interaction in order to inculcate the right perception about the ancient scriptures, wisdom, practices, codes of conduct, and rituals.
  • To grants, scholarships, and fellowships to the students excelling in the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Construction and management of schools, colleges, education institutes, free dispensaries, centers for the poor, and homes for the aged for the benefit of the public.
  • To promote education among the rural communities and the poor through economic assistance, seminars, workshops, awareness campaigns, etc.
  • Providing grants, scholarships, fellowships, and other forms of financial assistance to needy and deserving students for pursuing education, vocational training, skill development, etc.
  • To provide physical and mental health care to the community by setting up clinics and health care centers.
  • To help with knowledge acquisition through various communication mediums including television, radio, internet, print, etc. by setting up reading rooms, computers, etc.
  • To encourage and preserve local heritage, traditions, culture, art, and best practices.
  • To facilitate the creation of self-help groups among the rural communities and to partner with micro-credit and knowledge organizations to support self-help groups.
  • To establish associations and to takeover organizations in India and abroad, having objects similar, incidental or ancillary to those of this trust.
  • To do and conduct all such acts and things that would further the object mentioned herein and would further the cause of the Trust or are incidental or conducive to such objects.
  • To engage in the Printing and Publication of Books, and CDs in all Indian Languages, to preserve and promote Indian Culture and Tradition.
